Turmeric is typically used as a spice in Indian cooking.

It’s also yellow and will make your food a lovely sunny colour. The root looks a lot like ginger; only the flesh is actually orange rather than yellow.
As with many other ingredients on this list, turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant elements.

To make this super juice, you’ll need to process apples, oranges, lemon, and ginger through your juicer.
If you use turmeric root (which is pretty rare in the states), you’ll need to process it just like the ginger.
Otherwise, stir the powdered turmeric into the juice before serving.
